Greg is currently in his fourth year as an Instructional Coach for the Romoland School District where he coaches primarily around educational technology topics, including as a Google for Education Certified Trainer. Prior to this assignment, he spent 22 years in the classroom, primarily with grades 6-14 in 1:1 device rooms teaching a variety of technology-based courses of study. With a total of 37-plus years experience with digital technologies and human-computer interfaces, 26 of those have been in the field of education. Formal education includes an Ed.D. (ABD) in Learning Technologies, MS in Computer Science, and BBA in Finance & Banking. Greg's current areas of interest include research-based and anecdotal descriptions of any combination of blended learning, professional learning, personalized learning, and competency-based education, along with brain-education relationship studies and gaming-education relationship studies.
