Jay is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Oak Park Unified School District in Oak Park, CA. Prior to that, Jay was the Director of Instructional Technology and Principal of La Mariposa School in the Pleasant Valley School District in Camarillo, CA. Prior to that, he was the Dean of Students at Medea Creek Middle School and a teacher at Brookside Elementary School in Oak Park USD. In 2013, he earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from California State University, Northridge. He also holds an M.A. in School Administration from CSUN, an M.A. in Elementary Education from Pepperdine University, and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
