In this session, learn about how districts across the country are committing to #GoOpen and replace one traditional, static textbook with openly-licensed educational materials. This session will also feature OER transformation stories and insights from stakeholders in the field.

Pacific Elementary School’s Makerspace provides high and low technology tools for students in first through fifth grades to explore STEAM concepts, change the physical world around them and create prototypes that don’t currently exist to solve the problems of today. We take the makerspace beyond STEM and integrate arts, ELA, and VAPA. Learn how to bring this exciting concept to your school!

Bring your device and a penchant to work through some empowering leadership strategies that you can use to build a vision of delicious ambiguity in your schools.
